Written 2026-10-30. Read-only on the sources. This file records only what the reviews print and what is on disk. It contains no interpretation.

## Status codes (our side)

- **coded** = `study_id` in `/home/claude/db/database/studies.csv` (38 rows).
- **text** = full text on disk but not coded (path given).
- **missing** = no text on disk. The DOI/PMID comes from a review's reference list where one was found. **Source:** card only, `/home/claude/drive/Historikk 1965-2015/kort/25_WCRF1997.md`. There is **no txt of WCRF 1997 on disk**: none in `HT/`, and MANIFEST lists no file. The card was read via Internet Archive "Search inside" snippets (pp. 216–246). Table 4.10.10 (cohorts) and 4.10.11 (case-control) were not seen in full.

## 2. Norat et al. 2002 (Int J Cancer 98:241–56)

**Source:** `HT/27_Norat2002.txt`. Design: 14 cohort + 34 case-control studies, 1973–1999 (lines 187–188). The per-study inclusion in the red-meat analyses is shown only in Figs 2 and 4, which are images with no text in the txt. So the text does **not** say which 9 cohorts were in the red-meat HvL and DR analyses. The table marks which cohorts have a red-meat row in Appendix III (pp. 255–256, lines 1074–1221).

## 4. WCRF/AICR 2007 (Second Expert Report)

**Source:** `HT/32_WCRF2007.txt` is the **full printed report**, not the SLR. Its front matter reads "Second Expert Report" (lines 1–60). `CUP/ser/ser.txt` has the same front matter: it is another extraction of the same report, of slightly different size. The underlying 2005/2006 colorectal SLR is **not on disk** (see section 4 at the end). Section 4.3.5.1.1 "Red meat – Colorectum" is at report pp. 120–121, txt lines 10189–10313. The chapter 4.3 reference list is at lines 32540–32640.

### 4c. Published pooled estimates (p. 120–121)

- **Per time/week:** 1.43 (1.05–1.94), 7 studies (text line 10278; Fig 4.3.2).
- **Per 100 g/d:** 1.29 (1.04–1.60), 3 studies (text line 10279). Fig 4.3.3 prints "1.29 (1.05–1.59)".
- The CUP SLR 2010 (`CUP/rm2010.txt` p. 157, Table 36) reports the 2005 SLR value per 100 g/d as **1.29 (0.94–1.78)**, and per time/day [sic] 1.43 (1.05–1.94).
- Table 35 of the same SLR (p. 157) says the 2005 SLR had 16 cohort studies, 11 of them in HvL, and that the 2005 SLR included the "case-control study by Phillips, R.L. et al., 1975".

## 5. CUP 2011 report / CUP SLR 2010 / Chan et al. 2011 (PLoS ONE 6:e20456)

CUP 2011 report: "12, 10 and seven" studies for CRC/CC/RC. The six new papers are refs 24 (Butler 2008), 30 (Lee 2009), 58 (Sørensen 2008), 59 (Cross 2010), 61 (Oba 2006) and 62 (Nöthlings 2009) (lines 675–679, refs lines 1540–1649).

The SLR 2010 has 24 publications and 17 cohorts (Table 37 pp. 159–165). In the table, the estimates are SLR 2010 values (Figs 70/73 for CRC, 74/77 for colon, 78/81 for rectum). Chan 2011 has no per-study numbers in its text, and Table S1 is not on disk. Chan 2011 red-meat HvL refs are [18, 20, 21, 25–27, 34, 50, 52, 53, 57, 59–63] (16 studies, chan.txt lines 296–297 and 276–277). Not in its DR: [20, 21, 59, 62] (line 277). ## 11. Are the 2006/2007 SLR and Chan 2011 Table S1 on disk?

- **WCRF 2007 colorectal SLR (the "2005 SLR"): NOT on disk.**
  - `HT/32_WCRF2007.txt` and `CUP/ser/ser.txt` are both the printed Second Expert Report.
  - No local file contains the SLR's study-level tables.
  - Only indirect information exists: the CUP SLR 2010 (`CUP/rm2010.txt` pp. 156–157, 165) summarises the 2005 SLR (16 cohorts, 11 in HvL; 1.43 per time/day, 7 studies; 1.29 (0.94–1.78) per 100 g, 3 studies; Phillips 1975 and Chen 2003 included).
  - MANIFEST lists `Kilder/nedlastede_kilder_2_WCRF_SLR.zip` (23.8 MB, Drive id [Drive-id]). It was **not downloaded**, and its contents are unknown.
- **Chan 2011 Table S1 (and S2, Text S1): NOT on disk.**
  - Only the captions exist (`CUP/chan.txt` lines 412–420): "Table S1 Main characteristics of the prospective studies included in the dose-response meta-analyses (DOC)".
  - No `pone.0020456.s001` file, or other supplement, in `/home/claude/drive/supplements/`, `/home/claude/suppl_in*` or MANIFEST.
  - The closest substitute on disk is CUP SLR 2010 Table 37 and Figs 70–81 (`CUP/rm2010.txt` pp. 159–177). These differ from Chan 2011 in the colon DR: SLR 9 studies, 1.12 (0.97–1.29); Chan 10 studies, 1.17 (1.02–1.33).
